FITECLUB

Fiteclub is a small nonprofit forum devoted to technical architects from the global finance community, starting out (in 2003) in London as a conference bringing together people from three worlds: banking, academia and the vendor community. For further info see www.fiteclub.org but in summary Fiteclub stands for Financial Innovators Technology Event Club. Fiteclub sets out to keep its members informed of key innovations they should be aware of, deal with common industry issues we all face and discuss the challenges of introducing new technologies.

The format for Fiteclub in SG will the same as London with meetings held every 8-12 weeks usually on a Wednesday night, starting at 6.45pm with an hour talk/presentation from either a vendor, a member from academia or another bank. After the talk we’ll move to the nearest bar that serves decent beer. The three key goals of Fiteclub are for its members is to educate its members about something new they didn’t know or were not aware of,  secondly to create a healthy environment for them to network with their peers and thirdly to propose future topics for discussion/debate.
